I joined Fitness Funatics in August 2016, with the goal of becoming fitter and stronger…(I wanted to be able to do one push up !!!) I started with Personal Training sessions and then gradually introduced different group classes as my fitness and confidence grew. The varied classes made exercising fun and I was so pleased with the improvements I was experiencing in myself, that I made Fitness Funatics classes part of my weekly routine.
In the Fall of 2017, I signed up for the Lean Down Challenge, which I feel pushed me to the next step on my fitness journey. With the support of the trainers and the other participants I saw more positive changes in my fitness, eating habits and how my body looked. I continued to come to classes 4-5 times per week and on the whole kept with my eating habits and was motivated to see that I was able to maintain the changes I had made during the challenge.
In February 2019 I decided to invest in myself and start Personal Training again as I was going to turn 50. My trainer listened to my goals and developed an individualized program to help me achieve them...which I did.
I cannot believe the transformation I have experienced, Fitness Funatics has changed my life, they have inspired, empowered and supported me to become the best me that I can be. I am so glad that I took that first step 3 years ago to join, it is a great fitness facility with an amazing team who can help you achieve your fitness goals.
