First of all...Congratulations to Steve Cameron our MMA coach for winning his recent fight in Port Huron! If you like being pushed to your max you might want to try one of Steve's classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8:30.  An awesome work-out  We are now offering a punch card system for this class to accommodate shift workers. 
 

MMA memberships for 2009:                     1- Month   $80.00                       3- Month $200.00 *NEW* pre-paid punch card $10.00 a punch/class One time drop in fee for this class has increased to $15.00

The kids are having a blast with Coaches Clint and Bernard. It is amazing to watch them improve skills in such a short time. You can see the self confidence developing with each week.  We have added an additional time slot to this class so kids can now come twice a week:  Saturday mornings 10:00am and Thursday evenings 6:00pm 

We are very pleased to have recently been accepted to the Council of Amateur Sport Kickboxing.  As members of CASK we now are able to provide insurance coverage for both non-competitive and competitive participants.  This is a contact sport and in the unfortunate event that someone gets hurt it is imperative that we take all precautions. Please note: ALL Fitness Funatic participants must purchase an annual CASK insurance membership in 2009
           Annual Membership fees:  Recreational Member:      $15.00
                                                   Competitive Member:      $85.00

With the winter weather already well under way there are sure to be many highways and road closures soon. Oh what fun it is to party like a funatic!!!!!

While I was in Newfie land the staff and some participants thought it would be good to go ahead with organizing a Christmas party at the studio and I am glad they did!  My week felt like a bad dream and although I thought this was a crazy thing to do after all that happened it was exactly what I needed to put me in the festive spirit!   My next equipment purchase for the studio may have to be a disco ball!!!
